Silt zine is a paper project that will also be shared online. The theme is ‘river’. Respond as you wish.

This not a competition. All writing that respects the guidelines will be included.
You can share
- poetry (up to 220 words per poem)
- flash fiction, memoir notes, essays, creative non fiction, and experimental text (up to 1,000 words per entry).

The maximum number of entries is 6 per person, i.e. up to 3 poems and 3 pieces of prose.
Space is limited: if your writing is not selected for the printed version it will be shown on the website.
You do not need to be a Revolut customer to use the link. Pay using any card.
Donate without sharing your writing
Support the project by donating any amount of €10 or more. You will receive a thank you in the post, plus a copy of the zine.

How Silt zine will be shared
Online
Everyone’s writing will be published online September 11th-27th.
Silt will be free for everyone to read.
In print
Writers whose work is included in the paper edition will receive a copy of the zine in the post.
Zines will be sent outside of Europe only if writers pay extra postage of €3.
Questions and answers
Do you publish concrete poems?
Yes. All entries will be photographed and shared exactly as you send them.
Can I submit previously-published work?
Yes. Make sure to mention that your work was already published.
How many zines will be published?
I don’t know yet. It depends on the number of entries, and final project costs. It will be a very small number.
Do you use Paypal?
No, but you can pay with any card using the link provided.
How is my information used?
You will get updates by email. Please check your spam folder if you do not see a message within five days. I will delete all of your details on completion of the project. See privacy policy here.
Can I make a change after sending writing to you?
No. Every project takes a lot of energy, skill, and time. Please adhere to the guidelines.
