Nature’s seasonal shapeshifting, lived experience, animals, research, and dreams inspire me.
My practice spans over three decades. I have shared my art and writing through publications, readings, talks, and exhibitions in Ireland and internationally. Cave to Compass was published in 2025.
Visual art
Much of my work begins with a sketch drawn in biro or pencil. For colour I use pen, paint, markers, pencils, recycled ‘rubbish’ fabric, and collage. I also work with natural materials.
Education
To build on my knowledge, after more than 20 years of social arts and group facilitation, I studied sociology at postgraduate level. Learning never ends.
